I am an Asian-American self-taught painter. I spend most of my time searching for the imperfect patterns created by nature. I feel fascinated by how ordinary scenes create and embed unique characteristics that may not be noticeable to everybody.

I hardly lift my palette knife and brush on a plain canvas. I painstakingly cure my canvas with gesso in order to create a texture that may add an appeal to colors.
